Privacy statement
Westpoint Services collects only the information needed to prepare and file your Ohio sales tax returns: your business details, tax identification number, sales figures, supporting documents, and, if you choose, the bank account used to pay the state.
How we protect it
- Tax IDs and bank details are encrypted in storage with keys kept separate from the database.
- Every sign-in can be protected by two-step verification, and we alert you when a new device signs in.
- Access to your records is logged. Our team sees masked identifiers unless a filing requires the full value, and every reveal is recorded.
- We never ask for, store, or use your Ohio Business Gateway or OH|TAX eServices password.
How long we keep it
Filing records are kept for four years after each return's due or filing date, which is the period Ohio may examine. Bank details are removed when you switch to paying the state yourself or after two years without activity. You can request a copy of your records at any time from your account page.
Services we use
The address finder on your business profile and location forms sends what you type there to Google Maps to fetch address suggestions; Google also receives your device's IP address when you use it. Separately, every page of this site loads its typeface from Google Fonts, so Google sees your device's IP address when a page opens. We send nothing else about you or your account to Google.
